Employee Testimonials

Samsung Engineering America is a nice office of well experienced engineers and staff.
This gives me an opportunity to work more closely with the knowledgeable engineering managers. I am looking forward to a steep learning curve. The Management By Objectives program will help me have a focus on developing my engineering understanding in areas other than what I am working on. Because of the MBO program, there is usually at least one lunch-and-learn each week, which provide a topic/vendor information based learning atmosphere.
I think the learning/development atmosphere here will really help us grow into a very capable engineering office. I look forward to the coming years and what I will accomplish.
Interview with Anthony

I believe Samsung Engineering America (SEA) is an expanding international EPC company with a clear strategy and policy regarding its employees.
SEA has an enjoyable company culture based on the values of respect, work ethics and responsibility. Growth opportunities with Samsung are abundant for talented engineers both inside and outside the US. When this daily work challenge, growth opportunity and a perfect work environment is blended with a generous employee benefit package, Samsung becomes the ideal work place for an engineer like me.”
Interview with Maqsud

It’s great to be an element in a growing, subsidiary company that holds the name of such a huge corporation.
Houston is an ideal location as it is the center for the Oil & Gas Industry here in America, so I am proud to be a part of expanding the name of Samsung Engineering. And with a variety of experienced engineers and close interaction here at the office, I feel I’m on my way in becoming a successful and valuable career-minded individual in today’s global business environment!”
Interview with Katrina

When I received the call from Samsung Engineering America to come in for an interview, I was very excited.
Since I was familiar with Samsung’s great reputation, I was thrilled to find out they had a petrochemical process engineering company. During my interview, I was impressed with not only the process-engineering managers but also the Chief Technology Officer, Mr. John Tait. All the managers had amazing credentials, so it was an easy decision to accept a job with Samsung Engineering America.
My experience at Samsung Engineering has been truly one of a kind. I have had the opportunity to learn so much information on a myriad of different topics. All of the managers have been very receptive to my questions and have made me feel welcome expressing my thoughts. Since I am one of the youngest engineers, the managers make sure they explain topics in detail, which helps fill in the gap between what I learned in school and real world applications. I have many great mentoring figures here at SEA.”
