Samsung Engineering America Inc. (SEA) was established in 2008 as a Global Technology Center located in Houston, Texas.

Supporting worldwide projects in refining and gas processing technologies encompassing oil & gas developments, onshore gas plants & refineries, SEA functions as an independent American subsidiary of Samsung Engineering Company Limited (SECL) for marketing, procurement, engineering and projects.

SEA has set the following three directives for 2011 to achieve our very aggressive corporate wide growth strategy:

1. Accelerate our business drive through the development of new business lines in the areas of Liquefied Natural Gas and Gas/Oil Separation Plants.
2. Focus on intensifying our global marketing capability to accelerate our continuous growth.
3. Further develop our project execution capabilities to solidify our stable business foundation.

We are presently engaged in the execution of a number of refining and LNG/gas processing projects in collaboration with the head office. SEA will further enhance the company’s project execution competencies by bolstering the company’s Front End Engineering Design capabilities. The Houston office is focusing on expanding the engineering and sales team to support our company growth plans.
