Eco-Generation, an Environmental Education Initiative for Children
Samsung Engineering is taking initiative to help today’s children become an environmentally conscious generation. Eco-Generation is an online education program that provides children and youth with resources about the environment such as water, air, earth and the eco-system. The program also includes events such as an annual Environmental Camp, Environmental Reporters Program and the Green Film Festival.
Global CSR Activities with Overseas Branches
Samsung Engineering’s work does not end at the project site. In an effort to create co-prosperity, the company has implemented dozens of CSR activities in countries around the world through its regional offices. We continually develop and implement programs that help combat social issues such as children living in poverty by having volunteers provide food and water, low unemployment rates by recruiting local residents, and lack of educational resources by building new schools and facilities for the youth.
CSR Activities for Communities in Korea
Samsung Engineering offers year round social services for communities in need, mainly in rural and underdeveloped regions in Korea. Such community service campaigns are a way for Samsung Engineering to give back to its local community.
Donations & Sponsorships
Our community involvement also includes donations and sponsorships. We support universities, hospitals, environmental organizations, and NGO’s that work on a non-profit basis. Our employees worldwide are also known for donating their time through volunteering, from beach cleanups to mentor programs.
