Global Operation
In 2011, Samsung Engineering inaugurated Samsung Naffora Techno Valley (SNTV), a state-of-the-art engineering complex in Saudi Arabia that will serve as the company¡¯s Middle East headquarters. Our other international offices, such as Samsung Engineering America (SEA) in Houston, USA, Samsung Engineering India (SEI) in Noida, India, Grupo Samsung Ingeneria Mexico (GSIM) in Mexico City, Mexico and In Kingdom EPC (IK-EPC) in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia are flourishing as independent engineering centers.
Cutting-Edge IT-Based Project Management System
Samsung Engineering¡¯s IT-based project management system infrastructure gives us a competitive edge in efficiency and assists in making strategic decisions for the project for all EPC processes. One of its key features is the real-time exchange of project progress information among project members and stakeholders, which is useful for other areas such as marketing, supply chain management, training and finances.
Global Outsourcing and Collaboration System
Samsung Engineering¡¯s procurement arm is enhanced through its International Procurement Offices (IPO). Currently, Samsung Engineering operates IPOs in Saudi Arabia, China, India, USA, and Italy. In line with the IPO, the Samsung Engineering Global Alliance (SEGA ) is designed to further strengthen win-win cooperative systems with major vendors. In the construction sector, Samsung Engineering operates the Global Construction Center, a collaboration system that enables the company to respond quickly to international price fluctuations and gain a competitive edge in the equipment market.
