    In June 2011, Samsung Engineering completed a state-of-the-art Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal facility in Manzanillo, Mexico. The project—which included a re-gasification plant, two 150,000㎥ LNG receiving tanks, a large receiving facility (capacity: 3.8 million tons annually) and a dedicated jetty for LNG shipments—was delivered to the client, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), on schedule with 10 million accident-free man-hours.

    In May 2009, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) contracted with Samsung Engineering to build the world’s largest ammonia plant (capacity: 3,300 metric tons of ammonia per day) in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia.
